Day 22

Today was just a vamp day as well.  A vamp and Vanc day.  They got her blood and I have her antibiotics!  As much as she hates being hooked up to that pump, at least it was only for an hour in the morning and three hours in the evening.  I'm leaving in the morning and Bill will get to Seattle in time for Mary's doctor's appointment.  Then he'll be here for the weekend.  Joey is going to stay with Grandma Mary Jane and Billy is going to be running Bloomsday with Markus.  This is the first time that all of us won't have done Bloomsday together.  I sure will miss the shirt!  And all of the laughs that come with all of us walking 7.5 miles together.  Anyways, enough of me being reminiscent in the middle of the night.  It's been another one of those things when it's been hard to go to sleep and stay asleep...although I  get like this anyways before I leave for a weekend, so maybe I shouldn't be blaming it on the hospital's effect on my sleep schedule.  Which is improving...slowly but surely.  At least I've been sleeping for five or six consecutive hours now.  And so has Mary, I think.  Either that or I'm so dead to the world I don't hear her.  Ah, we are both so homesick!  Come and visit us friends!
